Pool and Deck - Overview
Estimated area of new deck : 2957 sq. ft.
- New deck is concrete and extends from current apron (B, C) to north slab (L)
- All deck levels are referenced from the existing pool landing (G, 0")
- The current slab of the back patio (A) is 38" above the pool landing (G)
- Behind the current apron is a 17' x 14' area at -15" (B) around the AC units of which a ~7' x 15' area is needed for concrete to fill in from steps to AC pad
- Area C (14' x 34') behind the apron and area B is a level deck 15" below the pool landing
- Area D, an 8' x 24' ramp behind the casita, slopes up ~10" from south to north to meet area E
- Area E is a 32' x 29' slab 5" below the existing pool landing G. Area E will have the majority of plumbing, electrical and gas lines dedicated to the pool, deck outlets, outdoor showers and drains beneath it. It is also anticipated that area E will be built around trees behind the existing patio slab
- On the west end of area E is a 4' X 12' pan deck (F) which will house pool equipment beneath it on area I.
- Steps lead down 30" from area E to area H (18' x 23') which is flush with the pool basin (10' x 13'). The pool skimmer is located on the south side of the basin.
- Steps lead down 48" from area H to area I (18' x 23'). Area I contains the opening to the pan deck, which is set back 4' under area E, where the majority of the pool equipment will be housed.
- From area H, a curved ramp J (10' to 12' wide) ascends 48" to area K over a span of ~37'.
- Area K (15' x 7.5') ascends 20" to a level slab L (10' x 7.5'), which is 5" below the existing slab A
