Landscaping - Overview

- Goal is to cover all areas scarred from construction with landscaping but keep the outer edge closest to the limestone wall along the road intact with native wildflowers that already grow. Perhaps even adding in more seeds
- Need to keep in mind access to propane tank (stepping stones to the cap?)
- Camouflage septic
- We have some large white limestone that has been excavated during construction; we should use for landscaping where possible
- Four sprinklers are on the outer edges of the property
- Driveway is a gray color but should have been more bronze - we will likely stain it darker
- Gravel/stone is the preferred landscaping material, possibly using a two color scheme (dark and light)
- An additional (smart?) sprinkler system is anticipated
- Construct a raised bed in the center?
- Maybe use 3 colors of flowers? Orange, yellow and blue/purple?
- Incorporate a memoriam to Daddy. I found an orange Bougainvillea named "Delta Dawn" and it is fairly deer resistant. Put this on a modern trellis?
- Focus on cactus, agave, yuccas and succulents with splashes of above colors
- Include yard art such as wind spinners, sculptures (roadrunner?), etc.
- Landscape lighting will hopefully be smart and can change colors, will highlight larger plants/trees and provide pathway lighting
